TBM Engineers Inc. was founded in 2010 with the goal of providing the GTA residential and commercial market with structural engineering services and consulting that emphasized quality control, innovation, price competitiveness, and personalized customer service on every project. The owner and founder, Byron Escobar has more than 30 years of knowledge in structural, civil engineering, and environmental engineering projects, both large-scale governmental infrastructure projects, commercial projects, and with smaller scale residential projects. TBM Engineers Inc. co-founder Tatiana Quintana is equally a seasoned civil engineer with over two decades of large commercial projects and government projects. Byron Escobar, Msc.,PEng., is a 30 year veteran and globally experienced civil and structural engineer having completed his Masters in Environmental Engineering, and holds his BA Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.  He also graduated with honors from George Brown College in a Construction Management Certification program in Toronto, Canada. Throughout his engineering career, Byron has worked on a diverse range of civil engineering projects, which have given him a deep knowledgebase of skills and first-hand experience in design, planning, and project management.  Byron has worked on large-scale government-funded multi-million-dollar water and wastewater treatment projects in his native Ecuador to smaller but challenging just the same, residential and commercial structural projects in the Greater Toronto Area.

Tatiana Quintana, Msc., PEng., is a 23-year globally experienced civil and structural engineer who has completed her Masters in Industrial Engineering, and holds his BA Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.  She also graduated with honors from George Brown College in a Construction Management Certification program in Toronto, Canada. Throughout her engineering career, Tatiana has worked on planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure, including major complex civil projects. Tatiana has an in-depth knowledge of the Ontario Building Code.
